TRANZ ANTI-FOAM AND DE-FOAM TECHNICAL DATA
Foam can form in most Oily and Aqueous [Watery] Systems. The TRANZ ‘C’ Series, a range of completely Non-Toxic Foam Control products for both Oily and Watery systems that serve in Industrial, and comply with exacting Food and Pharmaceutical classified environments Less foam control product is required to AntiFoam – that is to prevent foam forming in any system - compared with what is required to ‘DeFoam’ - which has to collapse and eliminate the vastly increased surface area of existing foam that bubbles have formed in any system.
The TRANZ Product range includes:
In Oil Based Systems – Compounds
- C41 Industrial Grade – General Purpose.
- C42 Food Grade, Complies with Food Codices of Britain, United States, Europe.
- C43 Pharmaceutical Grade, Complies with Simethicone BP, USP, EP, JP Codices.
In Aqueous (water) Based Systems – Emulsions
- C61 Industrial Grade, Non-Ionic, Biodegradable Emulsion at 30% Solids.
- C62 Food Grade, Anionic, Biodegradable Emulsion at 40%. Predilute before use.
- C63 Industrial Grade - Direct addition, Non-ionic Emulsion at 15%.
- C64 Pharmaceutical Grade, Sterile Simethicone Emulsion at 33%.
NOTE:
Less product is required to ‘AntiFoam’ – that is to prevent foam forming in any system compared with what is required to ‘DeFoam’ - which has to collapse and eliminate an existing foam that has formed in any system.
General uses include:
Foam prevention, foam dispersal, food industry, Textile dying, pharmaceutical preparations, detergents, also in the food industryand beverage to prevent foam overs, wood pulp, paper, paint, wastewater treatment, food processing, hydraulics, making water based paints, etc.
