TRANZ DAMPING FLUIDS
Reducing and controlling the level of vibration in a mechanical systems leads to an improved work environment and product quality, reduced noise, more economical operation, and longer equipment life.
Silicone damping fluids are clear, colourless, and odourless linear Polylsiloxane fluids of two different structural compositions, dimethyl and methyl/phenyl with viscosities varying with molecular weight. The TRANZ D series silicone oils range in viscosities from 5 - 200,000 centistokes.
They are characterized by their high damping action, low pour points, high flash points, low viscosity‐to‐temperature coefficients (viscosity changes little even at extremely low temperatures), non‐Newtonian behaviour under shear force, excellent lubricity, high dielectric strength and RI values ranging from 1.3970 to 1.4000. Any intermediate or higher viscosities can be made to order. Polydimethylsiloxane Polymethyl / phenyl silicone damping fluids, at viscosities 2cst, 5cst, 10cst, 2ocst, 50cst, 100cst, 500cst, 1000cst, 5,000cst, 10,000cst, 12,500cst, 30,000cst, 60,000cst, 100,000cst and 200,000cst.
