TRANZ Lubricants commenced operations in 1951 at the birth of the age of synthetic rubbers and plastics. Firstly by servicing Industry OEM in such as ‘Motor Vehicles’, ‘Whitegoods’ and their After-markets, in Australia, then in New Zealand, we expanded rapidly from the '60's, extending sales into other countries, with unusual and often unique, functional lubricants in many different forms for solving technical problems and making difficult multi-component assemblies, work.

We have become significant specialists is developing and manufacturing many thousands of specialised fluid and grease-like compounds to lubricate the high and destructive interfacial friction wherever Elastomers (rubbers), Plastics and Metals work against one another, and for a Lifetime, without harming the materials. Today you can find TRANZ Lubricants in such a wide diversity of uses such as the Lifetime grease in tens of millions of automotive disc brake calipers, the assembly and Lifetime operation of the seals inside pneumatic cylinders, assembly and Lifetime operation of automotive power brake boosters, surface slip lubricants for drawing power cables through underground plastic piping fire resistant greases for steel mills, and a host of others.
