We are amongst the World's most resourceful and longest experienced manufacturers of interfacial lubricants for lifetime service between these three materials in any combination. Since 1951, TRANZ Lubricants have been developed, made and used throughout Australian Industry and in export markets. Over that time many novel and unique lubricants have been developed for working contact between elastomers, plastics and metals to enable the assembly of dissimilar materials, to eliminate surface friction and when worked onto components, selected grades exclude air, never "dry out" or "gum" and thus preserve against oxidative hardening of every type of engineering rubber and most synthetic plastics materials.
In combinations of elastomers and plastics, or where they are in contact with engineering metals, bare or with surface finishes, exposed to the full spectrum of environmental extremities from Antarctic cold up to the peak operational temperatures of 235 Deg. C., these TRANZ EPM compounds are a versatile and powerful resource for production and design engineers, enabling the assembly and reliable operation of otherwise problematical materials.
A wide range of Industrial, Appliance and Automotive OEM applications specify these TRANZ EPM lubricants, from simple transitory functions, such as overcoming sliding friction in the momentary pressing together of seals in metal housings, through to continuous dynamic lifetime lubrication, such as with plastic meters, valves and gears and lifetime elastomer seals working in contact with metals.
Whatever the end-user requirement, the choice of individual TRANZ EPM lubricants for these applications is supported by a large body of evidence proving their integrity, minimal effects on materials and reliable performance in continuous interfacial contact.
Most TRANZ lubricants are available in a range of NLGI rated consistencies.
Any NLGI grade can be made to order.
